Date: 10th March, 2024

Description:

The Zalawadi Milanotsav was a grand gathering for all Mumbai members to come together and enjoy. This exceptional event brought society’s dignitaries and the youth together at a large ground in Kandivali. The festivities were enhanced by the soulful music of Geetaben Rabari, the “Koyal of Kutch,” whose tunes set a delightful tone for the Milanotsav. With splendid decorations, a heartfelt welcome, high tea, and a meal of delicious “Ras - Puri,” the atmosphere felt like a wedding celebration.

During this program, to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the Zalawadi Mahila Mandal, Sabha President Shri Pravinbhai Shah congratulated everyone and praised the women for their efficiency and dedication. A garba competition was organized among the various centers of the Bruhad Mumbai Mahila Mandal, aiming to encourage the younger generation. The winning group received a cash prize. President of Bruhad Mumbai Mahila Manda, Smt. Charuben Shah, expressed gratitude to the Sabha. Trustees Shri Pankajbhai Sanghvi and Smt. Manishaben Shah were honored by the Mahila Mandal’s women, and Shri Pankajbhai Sanghvi acknowledged the success of the event by crediting the Sabha’s 5,000 members in his speech, receiving applause from everyone. On this occasion, Shri Pravinbhai Shah, whose heart is deeply connected to Zalawad, was honored with the esteemed title “Zalawad Jain Ratna” for his dedicated service and unique contributions to the community.
