Mid-Day Cup 2020

The Shree Zalawadi Sthanakwasi Jain Sabha is participating in Season 13 of the upcoming Ten10 Mid-Day Cricket Cup, 2020 to be held from 29th February to 29th March, 2020.

Different Gujarati communities residing in Mumbai will come together under the banner of Mid-Day to play Ten10 Cricket with a Season Ball, Over Arm Bowling, Twenty20 Rules, Mumbai Cricket Association Umpires and much more!

Our Zalawadi Supernovas have been carefully selected by our 2 experienced coaches - Coach Salil Babardesai and Coach Viral Shah over a span of 2 days of tryouts. Tryouts were held on 7th and 8th February, 2020 at Azad Maidan with over 80 Zalawadi Men and Boys in attendance.

The schedule for the Zalawadi Supernovas matches is as follows:

1st League: versus Kutchhi Lohana Saturday 29th February | 12.30 P.M.

2nd League: versus Vagad Visa Oswal Jain Friday 13th March | 11.00 A.M.

3rd League: versus Luhar Sutar Saturday 21st March | 9.00 A.M.

It is with great pride that we can announce that members of the Sabha are so excited to witness and encourage the Zalawadi Supernovas, that they have announced their own prizes for the best players which are over and above the prizes and recognition already offered by Mid-Day.

Prizes announced are as under:

1) Zalawadi Supernovas: Man of the Match Prize : Round Ticket to Dubai + Certificate + Trophy
2) Zalawadi Supernovas: Best Batsman Prize : Rs. 2,500 + Certificate + Trophy
3) Zalawadi Supernovas: Best Bowler Prize : Rs. 2,500 + Certificate + Trophy
